project reveal :: a distantly designed girl's room
I know we’re all hunkering down in our homes and avoiding any in person contact with non “essential” people. So in the spirit of Social Distance, I wanted to share a completed e-design project that my client was lovely enough to share with me recently.
Late last year, I designed this toddler girl’s “big girl room” from across the country. The client is located in Virginia, and as most of you know we’re in the SF Bay Area. That didn’t stop us! Never underestimate the power of working together remotely. E-Design - so hot right now. In fact, I’m re-branding it to Distance Design. It has a nice ring to it, right?
I believe the client found me somehow via the good ole blackhole of Instagram, and I’m so glad she did. Not only was she lovely to work with, but had great taste and inspiration to share with me from the get go. She loved this board and batten grid wall idea, so that is where we started. And as you can see, it adds a beautiful dimension to an otherwise flat wall.
After completing her detailed e-design survey, and one round of revisions (both are included in our e-design package) , here is what our design plan looked like:
It’s safe to say we LOVE designing kids rooms over here at LS Interiors! Forget having to be a toddler girl to live here - can we please move in? The client did such a great job implementing the design. And we hear the little inhabitant loves her new space! Here is the full tour:
Well, there you have it. I hope you enjoyed this Distance Design! What’s your favorite part? I can’t decided between the grid wall (and that paint color!) and the spotted wallpaper. Let us know in the comments below.
Stay Safe, Stay Sane (easier said than done!), and let’s hope things gradually return back to “normal” in our world, sooner rather than later. In the meantime, if you’re itching to spruce up your home that you are now spending 99.9% of your time in, check out our Distance Design Package. We’re offering a 20% off Global Pandemic Discount, along with making a $100 donation to No Kid Hungry for every booking during “shelter in place”. <3
Any questions, send us a note!
