a fun distraction from the covid :: living room reveal
Well I know we are all receiving countless emails from every company we have ever done business with letting us know about their covid response. So I thought I would offer you a quick distraction through a glimpse into a recently completed project. Of course, this is not to discredit any of these above mentioned emails, or minimize the terrible disease that is not only taking lives, but also turning all of our daily lives upside down, catapulting those of us who are lucky enough to remain healthy into the New Normal which we will all have to learn to navigate together. Instead, I’m just hoping maybe I can sweep you away from those anxiety-inducing news headlines for a hot second and take you on a little escape to a project we worked very hard on here at LS Interiors, before the covid hit the fan!
This beautiful newly constructed contemporary home has so many gorgeous architectural details. It just needed some warming up with furniture, window treatments and decor. Enter LS Interiors, challenge accepted! This young family has been so lovely to work with. So lovely in fact that I hashtagged the project “lovelyonlegacy”.
Well, I’ll cut right to the chase and show you the design I created, which incorporated the client’s own mod style arm chair and record player (so fun!).
Everything else was curated by LS Interiors. As you’ll see in the photos below, the “main event” here is actually the view of the beautiful hills. So, I kept everything else neutral and warm. And of course, incorporated the client’s love of greenery and music (same here!). Can I just say that I LOVE working with my clients’ own specific hobbies and interests? That is what makes each design unique, and each home the perfect sanctuary for its inhabitants. If I can create that special haven that is uniquely tailored for YOU, then I’ve done my job. Amirite?
Thanks for taking a minute to take this little tour with me, and for letting me deliver a little digital dose of lovely to you today! And - this room actually opens up into a dining room, so that reveal coming soon to an inbox/instagram feed near you.
