Finally, I’ve gotten a moment to breathe and get these photos up and running on the website!

This is a project I hold near and dear to my heart, as it is the home of friends from Brooklyn, located in Pacific Palisades, CA. We became friends about five years ago when our older daughters attended the same daycare in Prospect Heights, Brooklyn. These lovely clients enlisted LS Interiors to help with an NYC office project, as well as their house in the Prospect Lefferts Gardens area of Brooklyn.

We’ve since BOTH had second daughters and BOTH relocated to California. Although we’re “Norcal” in the SF area, and they’re “SoCal” in the LA area, that didn’t stop us from working together! A few trips down to LA, and the result is this lovely yet casual abode, which is both adult and kid-friendly.

This new build, located in Pacific Palisades (neighborhood goals!) has everything going for it. All of the interior finishes: oak hardwood flooring, shiplap walls and ceilings, lighting, tile and cabinetry were already in place. In true LS fashion, we worked with a good amount of the client’s furniture from their previous place in Brooklyn. Much of it translated well to their new home, which just goes to show, when you buy versatile, durable pieces that you love, you can use them again, and again, and again.

When it was time to do the photoshoot, I knew I had to enlist Alli Bentz aka TCB Style to help me make it happen. She was a true team player, and it’s amazing what two working mamas can accomplish in just a few hours! (Including moving a master bedroom rug that weighed about 400 lbs!). Alli worked her #shelfie magic and made all of the bookcases, table-scapes and floral arrangements truly sparkle. I couldn’t have pulled it off without her and her pillow fluffing and wooden bead arranging skills. Plus, everything is more fun with a friend. (And shopping. And vino.)

Our photographer, Stephanie Wiley was a total dream to work with. It’s amazing what professional photos can do for a space. We hope to work with her again in the future.

Well, I’ll stop babbling now so you can check out the project below, which features the Entry, Living Room, Dining Room, Family Room, Kitchen and Master Bedroom.

Enjoy!
