Into the Great Wide Open...

Boulder, we have arrived! It was quite a journey, but about twelve hours, eight diaper changes, three outfit changes and two trips to the store later, we've started to settle in. I'm feeling a bit giddy about this work & play-cation. I have to admit this harsh winter has given me a serious case of cabin fever, and I feel like I've been bouncing off the walls at le petit apt.

Although we haven't escaped the snowI'm eagerly welcoming the change of scenery. It's always invigorating to take a step outside of the Brooklyn bubble, and I'm hoping the fresh air and beautiful backdrop of the Flatiron mountains will breathe some new life into me.  It's amazing how much there is to see in just one little corner of Colorado, let alone the entire world. It is truly humbling and reminds me that I am just a small moving piece of a much larger puzzle. There is so much out there to see and explore, sometimes I'm not even sure where to start!

When visiting a new city, submerging into the art, design and culture of the area always helps me to gain perspective and find new inspiration. Avery and I are eager to dive into the local life starting tomorrow while Eric works, so we welcome any sightseeing, shopping and restaurant recs you might have!

So far, I like what Boulder is all about. I can't wait to begin to explore (even if it requires snowshoes!) and find some treasures along the way, so stay tuned!
